Chevrolet’s Chevy Volt
First of all — yes, this is a concept car, but — apparently Chevrolet is very much contemplating putting this hybrid coupe on the market (slightly altered, obviously) so we think it’s not a huge stretch putting it on this blog…
If you like the idea of alternative car fuels, but also enjoy a sporty looking car, this chevy volt might be your best call in the current market. It’s supposed to be super-economic. “Its drive train is entirely electric, since the companion gas engine powers a generator, not the car itself. The Volt is not a hybrid in the usual sense, in other words. GM claims it can run 40 miles before the gas engine even kicks in.”
Pretty cool huh?
