Lexus Conquers Hybrids
Who would have thought it? When most of us think of hybrid cars, we naturally think of the Prius, and while we know that lots of other car manufacturers have come up with hybrids of their own, did you ever think Lexus would come up with one as well?
Well, guess what? This is most definitely not a Prius. Trying to compare them with each other is like comparing creme brulee with Twinkies. Come on, this is a Lexus!
The Lexus HS 250h, to be precise. And, okay, some aspects of it are rather similar to what we see in the Prius. The front of the chassis is a little like it, but after that … forget about it.
This car has a very unique suspension, a MacPherson strut in the front, specially tuned shocks, an Atkinson cycle VVTi four cylinder 2.4 liter working in combination with a nickel metal hydride 30 killowatt electric.
