In just a few days, the Frankfurt Auto Show 2009 will kick off.
After a long gloom in the auto industry, manufacturers and consumers are hoping that the showcase will brighten some lights for the sales figures.
Like any other motor shows, Frankfurt and the rest of the world will be in for a surprise. Here is a preview of the convertibles and coupes that will be on the spotlight:
Ferrari 458 Italia
The red stallion will be unveiling a new supercar in the form of a new 458. The 458 Italia will sport a V-8 with 4.5L displacement and outputs a monster 570 horsepower on a combo with 400 pound-feet of torque. The powerplant is coupled with a 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox which can zoom the Ferrari 458 Italia from 0 to 60mph in a little below 3.4 seconds. Need to ask for the top speed? It is 202mph.
Reventon Roadster from Lamborghini
If there is smoke, there must be fire. It is not yet confirmed if we will really see a Lambo Reventon Roadster in Frankfurt but most likely we will. Talk about uber luxury that there will only be at max 10 of this car which will go into production. At 670 horsepower coming out of a V-12, its price tag speaks at $1.65 million.

Finding the right car insurance is not always an easy thing to do and it can be especially challenging if you want to have coverage for a valuable car like an Aston Martin. No matter how expensive or hard to find the right car insurance is expected to be, it is still nothing compared to the costs of an accident. It is worth comparing quotes for your Aston Martin, because these cars are well made and that is even more important to insurance companies than the original price of a car.
Searching the internet is probably the easiest way to find car insurance for your Aston Martin, but even that takes some patience. There are many insurance quote websites that are able to provide quotes from several insurers and you can then compare all of these quotes in regards to price and coverage. Of course the Aston Martin is not a car seen everyday and so a search for insurance companies that specialize in these cars can be done, and often with success.
Another way to find insurance for your Aston Martin is to go to an insurance broker who is also able to obtain quotes from several insurance agencies, or just use this auto insurance quotes site. The advantage of this is that a person can also talk to people working at the insurance companies and they might be able to get you more discounts or the right kind of insurance policy for an Aston Martin. An agent is the best choice for those that own older Aston Martin cars, since the premiums are usually pricier due to hard to find replacement parts.

Hot damn! Sorry for the language, folks, but holy Porsche delicious, Batman, this car is hot! The Porsche Boxster Spyder has not been officially revealed yet, but the car — which is heir to the throne of the iconic 550 Spyder, debuted in 1953 — at the upcoming auto show in Los Angeles. Between you and me, it simply can’t happen soon enough.
Porsche has been quoted as saying that the Boxster Spyder is made for driving in the open air. The car is lightweight, it is low slung, its soft top is designed to protect both the driver and the passenger from all kinds of weather, such as bright sun glare, wind, rain, and so on.
The Porsche Boxster Spyder will begin being introduced to the market next year, in February of 2010.

I am a huge fan of Volvos, as I have probably mentioned at one time or another, so you can probably see why I was immediately drawn to the new Volvo S60. Only the first couple of images have thus far been revealed, as the sedan will not be officially unveiled until March of 2010, during the auto show in Geneva. Still, I definitely like what I see so far.
The S60 is incredibly sporty and it is thought to be much more dynamic than — get this — any other Volvo. Plus, the safety features are enviable, based solely on state of the art technology.
Drivers will be more confident behind the wheel of the Volvo S60, says the President and CEO of Volvo, Stephen Odell. It will even have the option of “Pedestrian Detection,” which will cause the car to brake on its own if a pedestrian is detected in front of the vehicle and the driver does not react quickly enough.

But in this case, the cat is most definitely wearing lingerie. Risque, dirty lingerie. The kind of lingerie you find in Frederick’s of Hollywood, as opposed to what you find in Victoria’s Secret.
Oh, the Porsche 911 Turbo Cabrio. As if the Porsche 911 all by itself could possibly get any better. Oh, it just got better, all right. It just got better to the nth degree, in my humble opinion. You cannot even possibly measure this on the hotness scale. On the Richter scale of sexiliciousness, this one goes right through the roof.
I want this car so bad I can taste it. I almost think there is no limit to what I would do to own Porsche 911 Turbo Cabrio. Rarely in life have I seen a Cabriolet that I pined for so very, very much.

Oh goodness gracious. If you will forgive me for my bluntness, I think that if the Audi TT Clubsport Quattro had been featured in Grease, it seriously — and probably literally — would have earned a reputation for being a “real p*ssy wagon,” if you get my tastefully censored drift.
This is another one of those cars that should definitely be qualified as sex on wheels. You can even hear it purr through the picture, like a low slung animal getting ready to pounce.
The styling elements alone are absolutely to die for; all by itself, the grille dominates the front. If you saw this thing coming at you, you’d be hard pressed to do more than stand there and just pray it would run you over, because what a way to go.

When you really think about it – why not have a ringtone for your car? Why would you want your car to sound like everyone else’s car in the world? Everything about this day and age just screams unique and to be quite frank, I think that downloadable ringtones for your car is honestly going to be one of the hottest new technology pieces for any car.
We have been hearing for the last few years and the silent nature of the hybrid and EV cars is actually a potential safety hazard for pedestrians who are not paying attention, so what would happen if you add in some ringtones? These cars won’t be silent any longer!
BMW, Fisker and Nissan are all working with Hollywood special-effect teams to develop something like ringtones for your car to make it … loud!

Now – I did not think that when the 2010 Dodge Challenger came out, I would be doing a blog about the color of it. I thought that I would be doing a blog about the overall appearance and how beautiful it is … however, the 2010 Dodge Challenger has come out with by far one of the most unique and different color options for the customer, that I just has to go ahead and touch on it.
For those of you that don’t know, the color is actually called Plum Crazy and for me … it doesn’t look like something that I would want to ride around in, however if you are ‘plum crazy’ for this color, you might just want to get it. However, it will cost you!
For the R/T, $225 is the price tag and for the SRT models, $500 is the price tag for you.

Finally, finally, finally next spring, they are going to start taking orders for the brand new 2010 Nissan Leaf EV. This is a car that so many people have been waiting for – it is completely electric and I have to say that this particular car is going to be so popular. This is totally how I want to ride! I would say that by the time the very first car is delivered to the first paying customer, Nissan expects to have taken some 20,000 initial reservations.
If you are thinking about getting one of the brand new 2010 Nissan Leaf EV … you may want to consider getting it early and you definitely will want to get into a lease … or buy it early. Nissan expects that about 5,000 2010 Nissan Leaf EV will be committed to a lease by 2010, so you better work fast!
By 2012, Nissan actually plans to be out over two billion in their Smyrna, TN factory that will produce upwards of 150,000 electric cars and 200,000 lithium ion batteries per year.

If this is not one of the most luxurious cars you’ve ever seen – I expect you to share the ones that beat this extremely gorgeous Bugatti Galibier Concept below in the comments section.
Such a beautiful design – such great eye for detail by the Bugatti engineers and designers – and an engine to beat a Ferrari Enzo.
Unreal car – unreal price tag of well over 1.5 Million too….
